If you have a Gen 1 GT Carbon board and the battery is bulging, no longer charging, or no longer functioning, it’s important to stop using the board immediately.

These boards are only compatible with their original GT Series battery type. Newer platform batteries are not compatible and cannot be installed as upgrades or replacements.

⚠️ Important

GT and GTX replacement batteries are no longer available.
There is no supported modern replacement battery path for these boards.
Batteries from newer platforms such as GTR, Hadean, Diablo, Fusion, or Stoke models are not compatible.
Cross-platform battery swaps are not supported.

If your battery is bulging or swollen:

Stop riding the board immediately.
Do not attempt to charge the battery.
Store the board in a safe, dry location away from heat or flammable materials until support can advise further.
