No — it’s not possible to convert between Carbon and Bamboo decks on any of our boards.

While some internal components like the battery cells and motor controller are shared across models, the housing, fitment, and overall design of the Carbon and Bamboo decks are completely different. The enclosures are moulded specifically for each deck style and are not interchangeable.

This applies to all generations — GTR, Hadean, and Diablo. You cannot take a Carbon board and move the internals into a Bamboo deck, or the other way around. It simply won’t fit.

If you’re chasing a different ride feel (e.g. more flex from Bamboo or a stiffer Carbon setup), you’ll need to look at a complete board purchase in that deck style.

What is interchangeable? Trucks, motors, wheels, gear sets and remotes — those components are compatible across models of the same generation. If you’re not sure what fits your board, just ask.
