🔄 Can I use my GTR wheels on the Fusion board?Updated 5 months ago
Yes, with a few key upgrades.
If you’re upgrading from a GTR Series 1 Bamboo or Carbon to the Fusion, you can reuse your current wheels, as long as they’re mounted on Surge hubs. But there are a few compatibility details to keep in mind.
✅ What’s compatible:
Wheels: Yes, your AT or Street wheels will fit the Fusion
Hubs: Only if you’re using Surge hubs (not Relay hubs, which came with many GTR1 setups)
Belts: Yes, the belts are compatible
⚠️ What needs upgrading:
Because the Fusion uses SuperCarve 2.0 trucks, you’ll need:
New Drive Gears:
66T SuperCarve 2 gears for All Terrain
SuperCarve 2 Street Gears for street setups
New Motor Plates:
The old motor plates from your GTR won’t fit the SC2 truck axle shape
🔁 In summary:
Component | Reusable? |
|---|---|
Wheels | ✅ Yes |
Hubs | ✅ If Surge (❌ if Relay) |
Belts | ✅ Yes |
Drive Gears | ❌ Must upgrade to SC2 |
Motor Plates | ❌ Must upgrade |
